Washington County is located in the southwestern part of the state and is home to the city of St. George. Cache County is located in the northern part of the state and is home to the city of Logan. Logan is home to Utah State University, which is the state’s largest university. Cache County is also home to the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, which is a popular destination for birdwatchers.
