Wrenshall Summary

Wrenshall is a small town located in Carlton County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 545 at the 2010 census. It is located on the banks of the Nemadji River, and is part of the Duluth, Minnesota–Superior, Wisconsin metropolitan area.

History

The area that is now Wrenshall was first settled in the late 1800s by Swedish immigrants. The town was named after the Wren family, who were among the first settlers. The town was officially incorporated in 1906.
