New Lebanon borough Summary

New Lebanon Borough is a small borough located in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. It is situated in the southeastern part of the state, approximately 20 miles east of Harrisburg. The borough is bordered by North Lebanon Township to the north, South Lebanon Township to the south, and Millcreek Township to the east. As of the 2010 census, the population of New Lebanon Borough was 1,845.

History

New Lebanon Borough was founded in 1845 by a group of settlers from Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. The settlers named the borough after their home county. The borough was officially incorporated in 1851.
In the late 19th century, New Lebanon Borough was a thriving agricultural community. The borough was home to several farms, as well as a number of small businesses. The borough also had a post office, a school, and a church.

New Lebanon Borough is located in southeastern Pennsylvania, approximately 20 miles east of Harrisburg. The borough is situated in the Lebanon Valley, which is part of the Ridge and Valley physiographic province. The borough is bordered by North Lebanon Township to the north, South Lebanon Township to the south, and Millcreek Township to the east.
The borough has a total area of 0.7 square miles, all of which is land. The borough is located in the humid continental climate zone, with hot, humid summers and cold, snowy winters.
