Manville Borough is a small borough located in Somerset County, New Jersey. It is situated in the Raritan Valley region of Central New Jersey, and is bordered by Hillsborough Township to the north, Bridgewater Township to the east, Franklin Township to the south, and Montgomery Township to the west. History
The area that is now Manville Borough was originally inhabited by the Lenape Native Americans. The first European settlers arrived in the area in the late 17th century, and the area was known as North Branch. In 1872, the area was incorporated as a borough, and was named after the Manville family, who were prominent local landowners.

Manville Borough is located at 40°32'17" North, 74°37'17" West (40.538056, -74.621389). It has a total area of 2.3 square miles, all of which is land. The borough is located in the Raritan Valley region of Central New Jersey, and is bordered by Hillsborough Township to the north, Bridgewater Township to the east, Franklin Township to the south, and Montgomery Township to the west.
