Graham County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of the 2010 census, the population was 8,861. Its county seat is Robbinsville. The county was formed in 1872 from the western part of Cherokee County. It was named for William A. Graham, United States Senator from North Carolina.

Graham County is located in the southwestern corner of North Carolina, and is bordered by Tennessee to the west, Cherokee County to the east, and Macon County to the south. The county is located in the Great Smoky Mountains, and is home to the Nantahala National Forest.
