Rose Lodge Summary

Lodge History

Rose Lodge is an unincorporated community located in Lincoln County, Oregon, United States. It is situated on the Oregon Coast, approximately 10 miles south of Lincoln City. The community was established in the late 1800s and was named after the wild roses that grew in the area.
The first settlers in the area were the Siletz Indians, who lived in the area for thousands of years before the arrival of European settlers. The first European settlers arrived in the area in the late 1800s and began to establish farms and ranches. The first post office in the area was established in 1891 and the community was officially named Rose Lodge in 1895.
The community grew slowly over the years, but remained a small rural community. In the early 1900s, the area was known for its logging industry, which provided jobs for many of the local residents. The logging industry declined in the mid-1900s, but the community continued to thrive as a small rural community.

Geography

Rose Lodge is located in Lincoln County, Oregon, approximately 10 miles south of Lincoln City. The community is situated on the Oregon Coast, and is surrounded by the Siletz Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and the Siletz River. The area is known for its beautiful scenery, with lush forests, rolling hills, and stunning views of the ocean.
The climate in Rose Lodge is mild and temperate, with warm summers and cool winters. The average annual temperature is around 50 degrees Fahrenheit, with temperatures rarely dropping below freezing.
