Parkdale Summary

History

The small town of Parkdale, Oregon is located in the Columbia River Gorge, just east of Hood River. The area was first settled in the late 1800s by homesteaders, and the town was officially incorporated in 1910. The town was named after Parkdale, Canada, which was the hometown of one of the original settlers.
