Grady County is located in the south-central region of Oklahoma, and is bordered by McClain County to the north, Stephens County to the east, Garvin County to the south, and Caddo County to the west. The county seat is Chickasha, and the county was named for Henry W. Grady, a Confederate soldier and journalist from Georgia.
