Paradise Summary

Paradise, Utah is a small town located in the southwestern corner of the state, near the Arizona border. It is part of the larger Washington County, and is situated in the heart of the red rock country of the Colorado Plateau. History

The area that is now Paradise was first settled in the late 1800s by Mormon pioneers. The town was originally called “Little Zion”, and was later renamed Paradise in 1891. The town was incorporated in 1909, and has remained a small, rural community ever since.
