Minersville is a small town located in Beaver County, Utah, United States. It is situated in the western part of the state, near the Nevada border. The town was founded in 1864 by miners who were searching for gold and silver in the area. The population of Minersville was 1,072 at the 2010 census.

Geography

Minersville is located at an elevation of 5,845 feet (1,782 m) in the western part of Beaver County, Utah. It is situated in the Great Basin Desert, which is characterized by hot summers and cold winters. The town is located near the Nevada border, approximately 40 miles (64 km) south of the city of Milford.
The terrain around Minersville is mostly flat, with some hills and mountains in the surrounding area. The town is located in the watershed of the Beaver River, which flows through the town and is a tributary of the Sevier River.
