Adell Summary
Adell is a village located in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,093 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area.
History
Adell was founded in 1848 by German immigrants. The village was named after Adele, the daughter of one of the original settlers. The village was incorporated in 1891.

The racial makeup of the village was 98.90% White, 0.09% African American, 0.09% Native American, 0.09% Asian, 0.09% from other races, and 0.73% from two or more races. There were 393 households, out of which 37.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.2% were married couples living together, 7.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.2% were non-families. 21.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.77 and the average family size was 3.26.
In the village, the population was spread out, with 28.7% under the age of 18, 7.2% from 18 to 24, 29.2% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 12.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females, there were 97.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.2 males.
